I would just like to add that we need to look at weight loss less superficially and focus more on becoming healthier. It’s get healthy lose weight not lose weight get healthy. If more people had that mentality then we would see a lot more people with success in losing weight.

It’s a good point Gordon, but of course by losing weight ( especially if you are obese ) you become healthier. So it still works both ways.

There is a lot of good advice in your blog and I would agree with most of the posts, except for the fasting part. It’s a bit disturbing to me that you tell people to fast. To my mind, it’s too extreme and unhealthy, but I guess if it worked for you and you can boast of good health after doing it, then I’m happy for you.

” except for the fasting part. It’s a bit disturbing to me that you tell people to fast. To my mind, it’s too extreme and unhealthy” Then you need to learn more about intermittent fasting.

Take a look at Martin Berkhan at http://www.leangains.com/ does he look unhealthy to you ? I can point you to numerous studies that show the benefits. Intermittent Fasting does not get the play in the diet world because there is no money in telling people to take a break from eating anything. I.F works, and it’s healthy.Keep an open mind, and go and start reading on it. Martins site is as good a place as any to start.
